probate and estates albury
A grant of probate must always be issued before a deceased person’s final wishes can be carried out. This is a document that is issued by the Probate Office of the Supreme Court which states that the executor has proven that the will is valid.
Once the grant has been received the executor is free to deal with the assets and distribute to the beneficiaries of the will. However, it is important to note that there are times when this can be a complex and challenging task, especially where large amounts of money and assets are involved.
Our Albury wills and estates team can instruct and guide you through the process of applying for probate to ensure the distribution of assets is handled in the least stressful way.
We can advise you in the areas of:
- Application for probate
